It does - it also doesn't just come on, it slowly fades in IME as the level drops. Can't speak for what happens when you replace the standard incandescent lamp with an LED one though. No idea yet. Not taken the tank off yet.... I'll get there in the end. But yes, those will be changed as the plastic ones are so brittle at this age and a nightmare!

Previous owner lived right in the ULEZ zone and had it tested at a Dyno and it is registered for ULEZ as a result. Win win for me as I live close to the zone, but can avoid it for the majority of my travels.
