To be honest, once the KX is running and set up right I'll probably sell the rollers.

Careful how you word the ad.
Unfinished project, all runs but may need safety devices adding.

Finished the drive chain cover today. The front half bolts to the rear, which in turn is bolted to the frame around the bearings. It's not pretty, but it's safe and secure. I might give the whole thing a lick of paint if it works when it's finished.









Next I need to make a cover for the roller linkage.

I think your hole centre locations could do with some improvement though

The starter might work before the Trumpet, but the KX?

Did you get this to start the KX?
I also have a 1985 KX500 and it's a nightmare to start with the kickstarter.
I think it will also be almost impossible to bump start so, as much as I would like a roller starter for mine, I don't feel confident it will work.
Let me know if it does though.

It looks like something out of The Mangler. Mind your fingers. And all other body parts etc.
