Tricky's is a fancy one with Ohlins, the cooking spec (Showa) one is cast is what I read.

Could be they just made a beefier (i.e. stiffer) one for the fancy models.

No, I'm not. I have no idea whether Tricky's yoke is cast, machined from billet (or machined from cast). I'm saying the base model (non-Factory) Tuonos with Showa forks had cast yokes.

Ha! If funds were unlimited, then maybe. But I'm very happy with the performance of the Showa forks, Brembo calipers and Oz wheels, so I'll just be changing the top yoke. And the risers and bars, obvs.

It was a case of 'I'll just extend what's worked in the past', really. It was only when I came face to face with the actuality of them fitted that the awful realisation dawned. Not one of my better ideas...

Mango - you do know that you can get clamps that go round the forks that allow you to use normal handlebars, I've got some 43mm ones from moto-cnc that work fine and if anything are a bit heavy duty for the job.

I don't believe I ever did! I had my blinkers on at an early stage and could only see that way of getting the bar rise I wanted. It really was tunnel vision. And I knew it looked gash, but couldn't admit it to myself. But the forum provided me with a robust therapy session and some tough love and showed me the error of my ways.

Nope. I have a Falco that can do that...

Unless of course you're referring to a V4 Tuono. I do not rule out buying one of them.

Yes, I am aware of those. I guess I view them as a Plan C, but hopefully Plan B (Mt-09 risers mated to modded RSV top yoke) will work out.
