Silly happy thing, but - a mate borrowed my shoulder electric blanket (to defrost a frozen pipe!) the other day.

Yesterday when I got home there was a box outside my front door - shoulder leccy blanket on top of a big box of walnuts  :bblonde: Now I do need to go and buy a nutcracker cos I'm not gonna be trying to open all these little bastards without one

I ordered summat from Ebay for a tenner.
Didn't arrive so requested a refund which came no problem.

The bugger arrived today so asked seller to invoice me. He was rather surprised.

I felt good after I'd paid.

My mum instilled in me a sense of honesty.
When I do these sort of things it makes me smile thinking of how lovely she was ❤️

I'm not sure if happy is the right word, but i found it somewhat interesting that Paddy the Baddy who's fighting this weekend for the UFC title, went to both the same schools as me, juniors and seniors... I didn't know that. I'd heard he grew up in Huyton which is a Liverpool suburb but it's a decent sized place so could have been many parts he lived... I'm still curious as to exactly where though.

Someone close to me fucked me over yesterday. Proper life changing stuff.

Been shitting myself all day coz couldn't see a lawyer until Monday.

But asked about and the law here in Spain is different to UK.
Thankful I'll be perfectly OK

Could rejoice in taking revenge

Instead I'm just gonna break my dry January and have a few in town tonight.

Fark, it feels good now :)

It's coming up for three years since I swapped my UK license for a Spanish one so I'll get another two points for good behavior. Another three years after that and I get an extra point to take me to fifteen (provided I don't lose any in the meantime).

Wow - you get extras !!!!

Don't think we get any bonuses. Start with 12 and try to keep the little sods. Not normally too bad because they only stay off for 6 months - unless hyou're stupid enough to get another one within that 6 months, then that one stays off for a year :(

But hey - fully charged again :bblonde: :bblonde: :bblonde:

Ooh. Didn't know that. Woohoo

Another thing. Say you get a 3 point deduction for being naughty
They stay off for 3 years.
But if you're a good boy for 2 years you get them back after 2 years.

I don't know how the German system works but it seems either they don't ask for or the DVSA don't give out UK registered vehicle details.

The Germans do speed cameras properly, camo netted outside schools mostly and for reduced sped limit junctions from what I've seen and been told.

Unless you're flying under the radar you'll need to find out. Assuming you're resident you'll get 90 days to swap your UK license for a German one.

It's the same if you've taken a UK registered vehicle over, 90 days to swap the plates. Unless it's something special, if it's anything like here it'll be easier to sell anything UK related and buy German.

When we retired 11 years ago we had enough money to live fairly comfortably as plans came to fruition.

When my state pension kicked in, it was a grand a month free money :)

I've tried to help folk out wherever I can

A couple of days ago I was having a Full English at fave bar and the nice lass there asked why I was down. I explained and she was very sympathetic.
As I left she said "I hope your day gets better"
Wow, that lifted me and did some legal research.
I discovered that the Spanish law is much different to UK law and the problem I'd been saddled with , now was dead and buried.

I wanted to thank her so popped along to the bar on our morning dog walk

I explained and she was thrilled to bits she'd helped me.
I wanted to give her 20€ but she refused.

So I jammed it in her shirt pocket. Oops, realised I'd touched her boob.

I quickly apologised and she quickly defused it and said "That's the most action I've had in months " :obscene-birdiedoublered:

I'm surprised as she's a lovely lass :)

If i was 30 years younger. And single ;) :D

Not insignificant. My niece and her husband asked me to Baptise their sons when I was over in South Africa on holiday!! WOW! So much fun, we used the swimming pool and what an amazing time it was. Followed by a simple celebration of the Lord's Supper. I was so happy to be able to celebrate with them.

Totally insignificant -

I get a lot of comments about my pink hair here, kids often comments, sometimes adults do.

Today two girls got on the bus (may 8 or 10 years old?), the first said she loved my pink hair and then the second said

" t'es trés jolie "

Doesn't mean loads from a little girl but yes, it proper made me smile :D :D :D
