But everything is off when they check the shims anyway. I never paid more than about £200 in the UK coz I avoided posh shiny places. How much do you think a 15000 mile service on a Suzuki 16 valve engine should cost, it's got a very similar engine to your GSXR.

I'm capable of checking valve clearances myself, if I wanted to save money, I fitted a new cam chain in my Kawasaki engine last year, but I didn't buy this bike to fiddle with, so I'm happy for the Suzuki dealership to do the work.
