Is the Montreal more of a spring/summer waterproof glove? (It’s not insulated.)

That would explain it. I did buy them as a winter glove with reviews saying they were warm and dry etc and I tend to go buy reviews than spec. To be fair, its only since the tempretues have really dropped I've had the complaint and was perfectly happy with them until then.Hot_Air wrote: Sat Dec 10, 2022 9:00 am Is the Montreal more of a spring/summer waterproof glove? These are very good for the price - https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorc ... prod/83815Taipan wrote: Wed Dec 07, 2022 10:30 amThese are not a very warm glove. My hands were very cold over the last few days riding, so I reverted to my trusty lobster claws and despite the weather being colder still this morning, my hands were still warm at the end of my journey.Taipan wrote: Fri Apr 29, 2022 6:19 pm New gloves on clearance from Sportsbikeshop.com

So I don't recommend the Oxford Montreal Textile Gloves as a winter glove.

I had muffs on the SH for Winter. I only ever used Summer gloves. I hate bulky gloves,it's like having a wank with boxing gloves on.

They are the dogs 'nads - had them on my old VFR and I rode through winter in summer gloves!

This 'Show us your muffs' thread definitely isn't what I was expecting

On the muffs being the dogs dangly bits in winter but i'll defer to your knowledge on how to ruin your boxing gloves

Just bought a pair of RST Paragon 6 heated gloves. Let's see if they help with my very cold hands, even in mild temps! They were on offer at J&S at £149.99.

Shouldn't be your problem, the supplier hired them, they should sort it out for you.Dodgy69 wrote: Mon Dec 12, 2022 7:12 pm Ordered a new lid and comms system a week ago. Not arrived yet and getting fobbed off by dpd every day. Proper shite service.![]()

Sbs have been on to dpd. Massive backlog. They offered to resend order, cancel order or they'll chase them up and keep me updated. I chose latter for now, won't be using bike for a while anyway.
Helmet City have not replied to my email.
Waiting for refund off currys.
Happy Xmas from Dpd.

Why, you tool around in a Chelsea tractor so ain't short a bob or two, yet want to save a few quid on something that can quite easily burn your house down whilst you sleep?

I'll probably only use them a couple of weeks a year, so don't need to spend any more on a pair. I'll charge them at work on the firms leccy! My old Arai was, well, old, so I broke with tradition and went AGV instead. Pretty much because I liked the (Guy Martin) design. It's a K1, so at the basic end, but fits well, Gold labelled and decent reviews so...
Also got a Cardo Freecom 2x to go with it

I recently broke ranks (owned Arai from the 80s) and bought an HJC RPHA11 as paying £1400 for an Arai is beginning to sound like they are taking the piss.

The £180 price tag was a nice enticement, I'll be honest
