Ah, you need an offroad trailer tent then. Arguably a roof top tent would also do the job.

Service all going smoothly but needs a new pair of fronts. I fitted new fronts about 50,000 miles maybe 55,000, we're now on 95,000 (2 years later) and that's about it really. The locking wheel nuts are knackered/tired so i told him to throw on a set of standard nuts he's got lying around, i can't see any point in a locking wheel nuts on a Transit lol.

I've had a minor niggle with the radio, it went screwy twice, but it's fixed itself.

49,000 in just over 2 years, that's quite a lot and i don't see it going down by much this year either.

Really? I'd say that a nice new set of rubber on wheels to fit a Transit would be quite an attractive proposition to some 'iffy tradesmen' types - there's enough of them around to make van security products and fitting them a steady business.

Probably more likely in some areas than others though.

Chucked the locking nuts on every car i have owned with them fitted. Late 80's must have been that last time i have heard of standard alloys being nicked of a motor.

Well this weekend gone on the way back from Fort William the van ticked over 100k miles... Considering we bought it on 42,000 that's pretty hefty going and i can't see it dropping much in terms of usage. So we'll keep running it at the moment as it's treating me well

MOT day today, Bought the van 3 years ago next week (well 2 weeks) with 42,000 on there...

Passed today with just under 114,000

It's had some fun and some days out that's for sure
