I'm confident that by the time we get to the weekend it'll have blown through and we'll get a nice, if a little overcast day.

i've offered @Welsh Muffin a pair of wets dozens of times, but she has no desire to ride in the rain/wet, so she's never taken me up on it... If it rains, i'll be buying a case of beer on the way to track and be drunk in the paddock by 11am

Highways England is to close a stretch of the M4 through West Berkshire all this weekend for works on the central reservation.

The motorway will be closed to traffic in both directions between Junctions 13 (Chieveley) and 14 (Hungerford), from 9pm Friday until 6am on Monday.

A large crane is being brought in to replace the central reservation, with narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place until the works are completed.
