That looks too cheap for what you are,on the face of it. getting.
It'll rattle and smoke if it runs- still interesting at that price though, if you're in the market for that sort of thing

Yes, it looks fine. Basic spec is that they are secured @ the bar end and enclose the end of the brake lever.

Turned out to be an interesting day, No rear brake on the Multi for a while due to the fluid being cooked so flushed through a load of new fluid and bled it fully. Now at least it works but on closer inspection of the bike before it went away till next week i find a tight spot in the chain. Deep Joy

I then ring the Italian specialist my bike is booked in for 15000 mile service ( major Ducati engine service , so kerchiiiiing) first week in September to ask what day they want it and get "Errrrr, cant see it in the diary, i'll ring you back". Bare in mind i booked it in June as they couldnt fit it in before the trackday but i couldnt find anywhere else to do the work without paying main dealer daylight robbery rates

They ring back and admit to fucking up and ask can i get the bike to them on Tuesday and they will give it back Thursday afternoon and they will fit in the service between other jobs so i have it all sorted before the trackday after all. They will also be fitting chain and sprocket set as well. Happy Days

So in theory i would have had a bike over service limit with an almost knackered chain and not the best brakes, but will now have a fully serviced bike, new chain and sprockets and fully functioning brakes ....... I wont be any faster but i cant wait to see the bill

Oh yeah, the insurance for the work policy on the Ducati also came out of my account today. Looks like i need to start instructing full time instead of part time

I managed to finish a CBT early today and get the bike dropped off the Carl who is doing the engine work and had a look at the chain and a couple of links are totally fucked (which i knew but was keeping going) so shiny newness will be fitted

PS, doing a CBT road ride behind 2 50cc peds on a Multistrada is fucking painful. I knocked the power all the way down from 150 to 100 BHP and backed everything off to soften out the bike and sat there watching the temp rise up to the high 90's as we pootled around at 28 mph for almost 2 hours as the 16 year olds thought the world was going really fast

Your idea of filthy would probably get 3rd in a concours show ....... but i accept they have done a wet trackday so i expect them both to be immaculate by Friday
