Cafes are opening now for take-away. Our local ones anyway for sure
Even better if it was. I just can't wait to ride my bike.

Due to having MTBing, i don't miss riding mine nearly as much as i would, it's a slightly different type of freedom, with more speed, but essentially a basis on a theme, so using and riding the bicycle helps me massiely.

Yeah I tried cycling and hated it  It's like running for me but with added arse ache and cost.

There's cycling and there's cycling.

First ride since lockdown. 136 miles of surprisingly quiet roads, taking in Bewdley, Tenbury wells and leominster. Keeping away from main roads. Only saw one plod car, no probs.

Parked up in Tenbury wells swimming pool car park for a spot of lunch. My mate riding his 1050 sport that he rates very highly. All in all, a good safe run. 👍

As a 'Key worker' I've been commuting on my Street Triple for the last 3 weeks :D
16 miles each way down the country lanes, all that's on the roads at 5.30 am are dozy pheasants & wood pigeons, lord knows what it used to be like in early morning practice for the TT :wtf:

That bike on the left in the pic is crying out for a can to replace the hideous stock surface to air carbuncle!

This is not a post from someone who is jealous of those allowed to ride.

Much. :(

I think pigeons are deaf, dumb and blind. 🐦

You've got to watch out for the couple of speed bumps if'n you go into the car park by the library, thems big buggers and slippery when wet.

Well yesterday PM I manged a wee 100 mile ride round Ayrshire back roads and into Dumfries and Galloway in a kind of "F**K you Sturgeon" kind of way. I took my time and concentrated on getting everything right, or as near as rustily possible, I didn't stop or meet anyone, although a smoke break would have been enjoyable as the scenery was awesome.
It was very nice and the quiet roads an absolute pleasure to ride. I might do it next week again regardless of whether the Jimmy Krankie mutant says the virus is more Scottishy up here or not.

If it's anything like the midgies it'll be much worse.

'till my dying day I will have one biking memory. I was riding to visit my daughter in Stonehouse, going the long way and I pulled into a carpark on Loch Lomond.

Just as I got off the bike a ranger van pulled in and two rangers leapt out. One was carrying the biggest aerosol I've ever seen which she used with a vengance on both of them. She asked me if I'd like a spray and I said "I'm OK in this biking gear".

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. My head was eaten alive though I did not realise it immediately. Next time I went that way I spent a load of ££ on various midge sprays. And I had a great trip, Balloch, Inverness, Knock Hill. A trip done at a moment's notice based on the weather forecast. Oh, the fish and chips in Balloch probably the best I've ever eaten.

If "she" ever opens the gates I'll be up for this again.
