Actually, no, don't think it is. If I open the page in an anonymous window it doesn't show the image. It's on a google images page, probably some bollocks about being logged in to google or something.

yeah i bet, for some reason i love the BMC bikes, there just cool, i nearly got an alpine challenge last year but evans messed me around and then the wife put a stop to it

BMCs do have a certain appeal. Very clean and sleek without being garish IMO. When I was looking at the Stirling I was also considering the Alpenchallenge but the dark gold/brown colour of the BMC wasn't very nice.

Me being single for a while was a significant factor in being able to buy so many bikes without getting rid of any.

I'm lucky that my girlfriend is remarkably understanding and lets me store my bikes in the spare room rather than the flimsy shed.

I've got a Giant Fathom 27.5 that I bought at the beginning of 2019 to do the L2B. I picked the Cannondale synapse carbon this year.

1st week of owning and a 111 miles completed in that time, have not riding a bike regularly for over 5 years so quiet happy with the distance covered in that time, a few trips up to the local woods (Bow Brickhill) and only one over the bars moment so far , have been very impressed which is good as I had never rode a emtb before last Saturday.

My lad informs me it's rest day today, so was a bit of spannering, brake bleeding and some cleaning going on.

This is “Reasonable Grounds for Divorce” so named as I was trying to pick a time when to mention I had a new bike when my wide mouthed mate dropped me in it.

Having sold my Trek Powerfly e-mtb last summer, taking advantage of the ridiculous prices 2nd hand e-bikes were commanding and in the belief that the bubble would burst and I'd be able to pick up bargain as some poor shmuck who'd bought one while furloughed and then got the chop would be selling all of their toys (which hasn't happened yet and doesn't look like happening any time), and being unsure of what kind of e-mtb I'll be buying next I picked up this meat powered/Amish/clockwork* Trek Roscoe 7 to put some miles in on on the local trails.....

Well, he did ask.
MrBB gave me this as a Christmas present about three years ago. It's a Kettler ALU-RAD DIXI SM. He told me about it beforehand and asked if I would ride it. I believe it is about 30 years old so fits well with the rest of my unremarkable old nails. Having short legs, I queried how tall the previous owner was and was told she's only small, so I said yes. I suspect you know what's coming now. Yes, it's too big for me. My bum to pedal distance is fine but even with the seat at it's lowest point, I can only just touch the floor with my toes. I haven't ridden a bicycle for years and I am too scared to go out and try it. Therefore it's been standing in the garage ever since.
