Part of the attraction when I had an MGB was that all the bits were just the right amount of rubbish all together to make driving it fun, I suspect if it was reworked the charm would be lost. I agree about AC though.

I know from experience the sills can look great with a recent reciept for new sills and still be rubbish if all the 'restorer' did was replace the outer part.
None of the parts cost a fortune but labour does so ideally it's hobby.

Track down my Dad's vintage (1937) Aston Martin and buy it and bring it here

A mate of mine did that, found the car his dad had when he was in college, a DB2. He also had a DB9 & a 177....

If I won the euros I think I'd have a G Wagon as a daily driver. But I'd insist on a decent amount of sidewall on the tyres. That or the Aston Martin SUV thing. I want something higher than a car, easy to park, goes well but is quiet at motorway speeds.

A solid non rusty Midget with a nice peppy A series engine (the term peppy is relative here ) - Just always liked them.

I've put my Tesla up for sale. If it goes then i'll get a convertible. If it doesn't sell, well then it, err stays!

An Autozam AZ1. I doubt I'd fit in it but it's got gullwing doors.

I've changed my mind, I just want a brand new one of what I've got now, sadly Mitsubishi stopped making them in 2017
