I am sitting here ridiculously happy!!!!
Ok, there's still cool air coming in the windows, but that's normal
The ridiculously happy??
The big radiator has come on today
Woohooooooo
The little one in the bathroom has worked for around a week and I thought the big one was broken But maybe it just needed time to recover from the shock of me turning it on
Can turn off the little electric oil filled one now!

TBF, I never use them in winter as all the other apartments around me have their heating on full and I end up sleeping with the window open!!Yorick wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 4:39 pmWhat's a radiator?Noggin wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 4:28 pm I am sitting here ridiculously happy!!!!

Re: Insignificant Things That Make You Happy.
Not so much happy as made me laugh out loud, whilst sitting here alone!!
On the course I was chatting with a couple of the others and someone used the word "analysé" in a phrase! So I laughed, trying to be quiet about it and failed! So then I had to explain that it sounded like anal easy and I couldn't put that into any phrase to do with school!! (I know, my mind is right down in the gutter!!)
Today I received a photo from my favourite instructor of him having coffee with two of my fellow students - one of which was the one that used analysé !!
Yup - he'd written anal easy with the photo - now I need to see Elias to find out if he explained where that come from!!
