Re: XSR900GP
I know it's probably heresy in some quarters, but the Yamaha 'speed block' thing does nothing for me. And that headlight is stupid.

Re: XSR900GP
Different people have different tastes, I think it looks minging, but it could be a good bike, I don't know as I haven't ridden one, and I'm not going to test ride a bike I don't want to buy.

Re: XSR900GP
CMC at Claycross posted on Friendface that they've just had them land in the showroom, so I expect you'll see them in most yam dealers by the weekend.

Headlight does look a bit challenging. Possibly better in flesh, maybe.

T'lads are out on launch.
I'm disappointed, back in my day the line of bikes would have been much longer and there would have been an artistic curve to it.

Re: XSR900GP
I couldn't be arsed to watch it all, but towards the end Wull's Hero Rea takes the GP for a lap of the NW200...

Re: XSR900GP
I think the headlight is the best thing. Dead cool, and 80s Tokyo, like an early NSR250.
Re: XSR900GP
It does a pretty good job, it is a half faired bike after all. I had a blast on it down Pembrey on the weekend and it was excellent.

If anyone wants one of them Trumpets, Fowlups are knocking out pre-reg ones at almost £5k off.

Re: XSR900GP
I thought the one at the NEC had the clip ons under the yoke, I remember it feeling a lot like an EXUP to sit on, that looks more FZR600R, which is a good thing.

Re: XSR900GP
I'm wrong, found a picture of it at the NEC and it's the same as that one, bars above the yoke.

Re: XSR900GP
Best looking sportsbike i've seen since the launch of the 916! I'd even go as far to say that if i ever buy another bike, i might even look at one of these and if I could fit on it...

Re: XSR900GP
Something about it reminds me of old FZR's from back in the day,but there were far less pot holes & speed camera's back then.
I'd gladly take one out for a spin, but it would be wasted on the roads around here.It would probably spend most of its life on a stand in the house .
