Might pop over on the Saturday to make up the numbers for a bit with the rest of the 'shire gang away.
There's even a very (VERY*) small chance I will be looking for a slot in novices to pootle around in.

I've got a bike anyway, and it might even be working by then if I ever get time to go over to Chillit's and help him try to start the bastard

We've already committed to being away in France (friends visiting) on those dates, so I'm afraid I'll be a no-show... sorry...

I'm going to assume @singlesman wants in too ?
This is the current BBQ list as it stands....
Usual process on the BBQ, it's £10 a head payable either with cash on the day to myself or @Welsh Muffin
The fayre will be BBQ meat based mostly. It will cover anything and everything from sausages, to burgers and kebab things. We do rolls, sauces and stuff like onions of course.
On top of that will be a certain amount of beer.... Lets start with 3-4 beers/cider/whatever and go from there.
Now i don't recall anyone above having any particular dietary requirements, but if you do i need to know in advance as to what they are. Ill make sure there's a decent variation on sausages from venison to boar, pork to chicken and a few Koftas thrown in as well.
At some stage of the day, 'someone' will be going out to get beer, ice and wine... it's not my job to sort that and pay them (you may even be going too of course), so if you want more than the allocation of beer to see you through the evening, jump up and either get in the car with them, or give them a few quid and a list of requirements. The supermarket is only a couple of miles down the road, but it's a hell of a walk if you get thirsty later and it's all gone
Notice... this covers only SAT night.. I can probably drop the BBQ down to the track on the Friday afternoon/evening as we'll likely shoot over to set up the Gazebo etc... However one of you lot who use it will be cleaning it ready for the next day and i will not be providing the meats

Re: 2022 RTTL Pembrey trackday extravaganza. Sept 2/3/4
Don't think I'll have a problem with you lot but you should be aware of this. We've had a problem which has esculated to an unaceptable level so have had to introduce an new procedure. After Saturday spending 3/4 day sorting noisy bikes out, introduced it Sunday and strangely didn't have one bike fail the ''Drive By''. A few missed their first sessions and we sold out of DB killers tho'..
Due to an increased number of riders blatantly ignoring our instructions to fit DB Killers etc and the consequent number of riders failing the ‘’Drive By’’ Noise tests the flowing will apply with immediate effect :
All riders’ machines will be inspected in the Assembly area – pre their group session - and those found not having a DB killer fitted to a ‘’race’’ type silencer will not be allowed ‘’On Track’- until one is fitted. Those riders who feel their machines will pass the noise test ( with either an adequate DB killer fitted / Standard Silencer etc ) will be allowed ‘’On Track’’, but during the session produce more than 96.0 DB ‘’Drive By’’, will be flagged and the machine will be parked up for the day. There is no second chance. If a number of machines in the same session also fail, then the session will be terminated.
From experience any type of short / stumpy silencer ( particularly Austin Racing / Yoshi RS3 etc ) will have difficulty in reaching the noise level required without considerable assistance - whatever machine ( 600 / 1000 / 4 cylinder / twin etc ) it is fitted to. As previously mentioned, the new Ducati V4’s is problematic with any aftermarket silencer. Likewise any ''internal'' modification ( removing the Cat ) will likely mean an excess noise level above 96.0 DB.
We haven’t changed the actual noise level and the Drive By system’s been in operation for nearly 3 years now, but it seems an ever-increasing number of riders are still registering 98 / 99 / 100 + DB’s – and then decide to fit a baffle – which is unacceptable.
We would be grateful if you could ensure your bike is correctly silenced before arriving at the event.

Re: 2022 RTTL Pembrey trackday extravaganza. Sept 2/3/4
It absolutely bemused me and bollox excuses about more power or strangling the engine are just pathetic
Bikers are just bloody selfish at times. It could all be negated by running stock bikes, but so so many won't do it.
