Apparently they had a small yard in Govan which closed in 63. I didn't know that.

I came across this today.

A bloke uses this block of lead for retrieving small gear off the side of his boat. It used to be square edged until he left it on his porch in Florida and the squirrels developed a taste for lead.

According to several posts on here, many small rodents receive their lead by injection, at high speed, in pellet form ;)

Day after i bought that pump ^^^ i found out a mechanical pump would have fitted straight in. One from a Landrover 300tdi. Just set the timing 180 degree out. Add a mechanical throttle and cable and you can bin the ECU. No more EML or immobiliser just disconnect the ECU and tuck the wires away. Throttle also.

Why was i not told before hand :(

Worth looking into you Mk6 Transit owners

Don't the engines with mechanical pumps usually have different injectors to the ECU ones?

On the good 'ole Rover L-Series, you could fit the injectors from the mechanical pump engine to the ECU pump engine for an instant 20bhp boost.

Different break pressures and spray patterns.

Apparently you leave the originals in. The Mk6 are not codded like the 7. Apparently the Turks have been doing it for years with a VE Pump??

Here is a guy who kind of made a VE pump with bits. He has a few other video if you do a search
