On the bike rental situation can recommend Smallboys - haven't a clue on cost but if you go down that line - with any company - I need to know as I'll need copy of their Public Liability Insurance.

Right all, just as an advance warning. Alan @Alan PBTD is going to be looking for some money in the coming weeks. I'm pretty sure it'll be a slightly different process to usual, he'll send us a link and we can pay directly from there.

I honestly don't know at this stage if there'll be the option of BBQ/Camping, mostly because, at the moment, neither do Pembrey and neither do Alan. So we're likely to book the usual Premier Inn but will use cancellation process on the higher rate booking for full refund if we can do the camping.

Ours will be slightly more complex as we're in Burgundy until the Wed, then at Silverstone GP on the Thurs, so we'll be heading straight from Silverstone to Pembrey as Ceri is doing the Friday at Pembrey as well.... So we'll need Thurs, Fri and Sat in hotel potentially.
edit : Hotel booked for Thur, Fri and Sat nights. This is getting expensive this year lol.

I'm already booked into the other Premier Inn on the Thursday night - was a date transfer from the (semi-flexible) booking for the aborted visit last month
I've just now also booked the usual one for the Friday and Saturday night- camping apparently isn't going to be an option for me this year whether the circuit allows it or not - if it is allowed, I'll probably try and find somewhere more local in Pembrey itself or Burry port and cancel the Friday/Saturday Premier Inn

Yeah we've booked Premier with the slightly more expensive option which allows us to cancel if camping is allowed. I'm slightly torn on which i prefer, both have good and bad points, having a nice warm bed is ace... but the atmosphere at the camping is fab !

I've booked fri sat on the option of full refund before 28 days cancellation. iykwim. So need to know by July 20.

Yup same mate. We'll know in plenty of time... just not hassling the big fella as he's got plenty going on at the moment without worrying about the small stuff

And if you can’t cancel due to it being after 20 July then you have to suffer a nice comfy bed, a few cold draught beers and probably the best curry you have ever had .... again

It certainly won't be a bad thing going to that curry house would it !!!! Was proper nice that i have to say.

Hotel Vango doesn't appeal as much as it used to. Less stuff to pack if we're in prem.

Just booked for Friday and Saturday. It was the same price for a single as two in twin beds. So there's an open offer of some man love if anyone is desperate.

Update wise we've just completed a very challenging 3 day event - the first at Pembrey since the Lockdown restrictions have been lifted in Wales. Reading through the various posts on this thread there's very little I can either confirm or clarify further with an event scheduled for August. Yes certainly I can outline the current rules ( and even ''Laws'' as it is Wales and not England ) but I can only offer an opinion for what may be allowed in August. The only ''concrete'' statement is that we will be running ''3 x 20'' Trackdays for the coming season. I've seen the July 20th date mentioned so will obviously look to clarify the points that are affected by this date.

On a personal point I am certainly aware of the hotel booking availability / pricing with Helen and I looking to get several weekend trips on the Harley planned and are still sat on the very large fence with the holiday to France not far away.

I'll be working on the ''payment'' procedures later this week / weekend and will inform you all of how to do it. Again I appreciate that we are looking @ August but the current TD market in the UK is mentally busy and I need every spare place I get hold of.

If there's anything specific please drop a note here or if you prefer message Steve - and we'll do our best to answer.

In the meantime it was great to see all the bikes at Pembrey again and we look forward to lots more.

Just as a quick point .... If anyone is now feeling they want Friday on track too due to Portimao being cancelled, you better let me know very much ASAP.

Premier inn's in South Wales ain't the cheapest. I'm staying in another soon, half the price and like for like dates. What's that all about.

could be that there's been a rush from dirty bikers to snap up warmish beds on the Welsh coast for that weekend and an algorithm has kicked in.
