You do realise this is Noggers? The original FUF????Tomcat wrote: Fri Feb 23, 2024 5:21 pm Have you unsucked yet? If not just slide a pointy kitchen knife between it and the screen. If it's just the vacuum holding it, it should pop off. If somebody has glued it, you'll be able to prise it off. Do not run with the knife, point it at yourself or attempt to otherwise interact with the pointy end.
What could possibly go wrong?
I did! It’s not a ‘clean’ plastic vacuum thing. It’s soft plastic and it’s proper sticky!!! But at least I can remove it now - without a knife !!! (TBF, whilst the French do allow carrying of knives, it’s not something I’ve done yet, and don’t want to carry a kitchen knife or have to go home for one each time I change véhicule!!!Tomcat wrote: Fri Feb 23, 2024 5:21 pm Have you unsucked yet? TBF i have been considering a pocket knife à la Fronch, but I know what everyone will say if I get oneFelix wrote: Fri Feb 23, 2024 8:19 pm I have a big Chefs knife in the back of my van. Its handy for cutting turf officer, honest.
It's more that it used to be 'tacky', so the suction bit just forced the tacky bit to stick properly. Now it isn't tacky, so even with the suction it's not sticking (the cold probably doesn't help much I'd guessCousin Jack wrote: Sun Dec 08, 2024 5:59 pm Buy a new one.
Most of those 'sucky things' are very dependent on the edge being near perfect to get a good seal. Hacking it off with a CC or knife, or poking a screwdriver into it soon wrecks the seal.
