Because generally not as many women find racing something they want to do. I'm sure there are some equality claims, but its also a simple fact, not as many women are drawn to riding/driving like loonies. Yes some women are fooking fast, as said ^^ you only have to do a few track days before you bump into a woman or two who are fast as fook.....but in general, not as many want to do it, so the starting pool is low in numbers and thus.... the numbers who will be great out of that low starting amount are less than men. Not in a % of, just sheer numbers who take it up. The bigger the original pool, the more likely you are to have fast people within it.

Its a shame imho - as there is nothing more sexy than a chica who is fast as fuck... imho.

In my racing days, the girls got sponsored as they stood out and got publicity for the sponsors.
