It was about £120 per stanchion for rechroming, plus time and postage so just bought new ones

So got up this morning with a mission..... fit the shock regardless of sheared bolts. If they sheared i'll drill holes in the plastic and cable tie it on. Its not like its a show pony eh? :D

Sorted. All fitted and removed old wiring for an alarm which didnt work.
