The last MT09 I looked at I think they'd given the job of fitting and tidying up the wiring loom to the apprentice, so it'll be interesting to see if that was a one off or a Yamaha thing.

I want to know if they really are as easy to wheelie as the press reckons.

Congratulations ! that looks mint - like the paint scheme. Be interested in the list of mods u've already complied...Tail tidy and a set of non elephant ear mirrors for starters...

The bike doesn't arrive until 21st and even though i'd usually be happy doing that, it's my 50th celebrations that weekend, so Sat we're out for beer, Sun we're recovering from beer

Unbelievably easy, throttle in first or 2nd with little effort and clutch up in 3rd. Any gear over crests. Prob the best wheelie bike I've had. Very well balanced on one wheel. i asked if they'd fit for free if i buy them and he said yes Bonus is, they're £140 everywhere and he's at £89

*because we're all going to laugh when he has to transfer it off the MT07 and put it onto something else - but that's part of the attraction
