The last MT09 I looked at I think they'd given the job of fitting and tidying up the wiring loom to the apprentice, so it'll be interesting to see if that was a one off or a Yamaha thing.

I want to know if they really are as easy to wheelie as the press reckons.

Apparently they just do it without you even trying in the first two gears.

The list is currently very short.

Radiator guard
Paddock stand bobbins
heated grips
None of which have been ordered yet, but will be in the next 48 hours.

With the longer term list of being
Quickshifter
Rear Shock.
Tail tidy

After that it's just fuel and seat time.

First job of course will be to ACF-50 it on all the metalwork to keep it nice as i can along with praying for some warm sunny days.

The bike doesn't arrive until 21st and even though i'd usually be happy doing that, it's my 50th celebrations that weekend, so Sat we're out for beer, Sun we're recovering from beer :)

Unbelievably easy, throttle in first or 2nd with little effort and clutch up in 3rd. Any gear over crests. Prob the best wheelie bike I've had. Very well balanced on one wheel. I'm old and out of practice but within a mile could go through 3 gears :)

Anyway welcome MT07 bro :)

I'm not. I'll do 10% of it as a happy birthday and thank you for providing our home and being a top virtual bloke (and, apparently, IRL as well!).

That's £50 of it straight away. Who else is in so that Weeksy has a permanent momento* of our love and respect for him and what he's done for us both here and IRL?

*because we're all going to laugh when he has to transfer it off the MT07 and put it onto something else - but that's part of the attraction :)
