Well .... here's the choice.... the're both worth very little but they are interesting. Who on earth would spend mega bucks on a new vehicle when you can have this kind of thing? cheers Joe

I just needed weatherproof for the winter, but now I'm seeing someone who doesn't drive at all its come in handy.

I’m happy though as it is more comfortable than my MSport ever was and I don’t have the engine to be able to hustle, so don’t need the low profile tyres

Re: Show us your cars ?
Can't get a pic up, I've got an early BMW 335i (twin turbo model) that's had all the weak points sorted and a few minor improvements to the power, brakes and suspension so I can annoy cars worth 10x as much
I've looked to get shot of it a couple of times as it's too expensive to run really but for various reasons I've kept it. Prices are rock bottom, but might rise again if I keep it for long enough (rarer model beemers usually do).

Re: Show us your cars ?
Have to confess that I got a volvo XC60 when I got to Sweden. This is the car last winter just as the snow started to come in, got a total of 30cm here last year
It's not so bad as winter tyres are legally mandated for the winter and they do come and grit every road in Huskvarna, it's just a pita not having a garage and having to scrape snow off every morning to get to work lol
But the car is so nice to drive. Driven it back to the UK twice now and it was so nice to drive distance without getting backache. The polo I had before absolutely killed my back just driving Milton Keynes to Kent and back.

Had a winter near Jokkmokk, 4ft of snow that year so not too deep according to the locals, the poles beside the roads to show the snow plough where to go were about 6ft high.CbfRider wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 7:13 pm Have to confess that I got a volvo XC60 when I got to Sweden.
