Make me an offer fella, looking online people are asking £1000 for OK runners, this is a bit rough, not a runner, has a good set of tyres and new battery so something less than that.
It's my wife's old bike (before the ZXR6) so I'll need to run any offer past her first...
I think my number and yours are unlikely to meet, but I'll go £450
How about £600, I'll send a lot more pictures so you know what you're getting into!

I'd love to see Mr Shiny take on a slightly unloved bike as a project and document it on here. I'll donate £25... but he has to do at least one track day session on it
I'm really keen to see what he can do with it, but am a little worried I'll be responsible for causing a mental breakdown .

I'll chuck another £25 into the pot, so we're up to £500.
I'm tempted myself, but I'm at the other end of the country, there's no room in my garage, I already have projects to finish and my wife would have my balls for earrings

Looking on eBay it'd only fetch £800. So if it needs a few hours and then even just a pair of calipers or a chain, then realistically I'm a £0 at then end so I'm not sure it's worth it to me. The only thought would be for a winter bike but I'm not convinced I'd bother in reality

IMHO if you're thinking of buying it to make money then it's not for you.
The reason we've kept it so long is for me to tinker about on without the risk of breaking one of the bikes I actually use. But we're moving house soon and it doesn't make sense to cart it across the country with us.

I wasn't as such, but I'm not in it to lose money either if you know what I mean.
But the fact is, I wouldn't be buying it to use or keep, just tart up then sell on.

Could have a look as a winter hack but that’s all it’s worth to me as it’ll be mostly uncared for because it’s a winter hack.
It’s a risk with it not starting that it’ll need money on the fuel system

Pretty low I think, I'm a short arse (5ft6) and I could get both feet flat.
