We might go for a day out in Naaritch, I don't think I've been there this century despite it only being 50 miles away

Lived in the Fressingfield/Harleston area for about 18 months, went there once. Still have the scar from a slight misunderstanding & miscalculation* with some pyro that resulted in me getting hit in the face by part of the facade on a nightclub that was removed during an argument with the security people.
Almost 40 years later a friend of mine in LA introduced me to his wife who was working there that night & I was able to fill in the gaps in her memory regarding what happened before the *bang* & the fire brigade showing up after it. She told me her first thought was an aircraft had hit the building.

*I wasn't the one to actually ignite the pyro, I was quite some distance away when I saw the flash as I walked away & turned around just in time to get hit with what I thought for years was a piece of wood, but later found out was probably a piece of aluminum framing.

Friday - usual shenanigans at work, more breakdowns plus some Briggs Irrigation training.

Saturday - not entirely sure, couple of jobs to do over the weekend so I’ll see how that pans out.

Sunday - much the same as Saturday.

I don't recall. Next time I see my mate & his missus I'll ask her. The place had a foyer/entry area at ground level that was basically a repurposed glass sun room/conservatory type deal & then the nightclub was upstairs...

"had" being the operative word... Turns out they aren't designed to withstand a 1/4 stick

Quick follow up on the electric Ford* I got as courtesy car. I decided to find out about this legendary acceleration the lecky cars are reported to have so, at one point I gave it the heavy right foot. 'Quite impressive' I thought.

Wife says '"Very nice, but it sort of feels like 'cheating' without the noise and the gear changing".

Maybe she won't be going electric next time. (Although she likes the VW Buzz). :D

*Puma Gen E - decent spec, I liked the seats.

Mooching about indoors, the novelty of outside being cold. dry and calm is wearing off.
