If you're using a ratchet in your own garage/workshop, I'd go for an air ratchet every time over battery. Compressors last a lot longer than 12v batteries.
There is no cloud, just somebody else's computer.

I’ve had an air wrench for as long as I’ve had the compressor which is probably about twenty years. Never used it. The body is smaller than the electric version but that’s completely outweighed by the air hose always getting in the way and the noise that the compressor makes. I’ll only go to the compressor of the electric tools don’t do the job or I need to change a tyre or something like that.
