Yes, that was a bit of a stab in the dark. Looks kinda '50s/early 60s though.
I think it's fair to assume that the designers (Margaret Calvert and Jock Kinneir?) had never ridden a motorcycle.
It has no fuel tank (so it's not anything obvious, although LE was a good guess) and looks v uncomfortable, so not an LE then.

Restaurant wasn't specified, just said "oriental". Pic was taken during yesterday's 202 mile ride, so I did go somewhere.
