Just watching how this unfolds.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/ar ... 8y6zqjgdyo

The guy was the official at multiple Liverpool games. I've just had the video sent to me where he's saying

"Klopp is a cunt, all over Liverpool are cunts, Liverpool are arseholes"

Obviously he never expected this to see the light of day, but WTF... He gave a couple of very debatable decision against Liverpool in games... Maybe now we know why...

80,000 pounds of Costco butter was just recalled, because the label doesn't say that it contains milk.
It's butter.
News articles are telling people how they can return, or safely dispose of, the butter.
It's butter...

According to the FDA, the packages of both salted and unsalted Kirkland Signature Sweet Cream Butter list cream as an ingredient, but may not contain the "Contains Milk" allergy statement visible on the packaging.

Fantastic education system we have in the western world.

Toy manufacturer Mattel has said it "deeply regrets" a misprint on packaging for dolls inspired by the new Wicked movie which listed the address for an adult website.

£7.40 is a piss take, even for Soho.

£9.40 is a fecking rip off. I hope people vote with their wallets and go elsewhere.

(For comparison, as I know Euro-fizz is virtually given away on that desolate volcanic rock you inhabit, I was in the Coach and Horses in Aldwych the other night and an excellent pint of Guinness was £6.15, IIRC.)

Lineker is set to leave the BBC. No idea if he jumped or was pushed? I think he flaunted their impartiality rules for too long and deserves to be hoofed out, but I doubt he'll struggle to find another employer should he wish to continue his political/football pundit career.

I don't know his personal circumstances, but if he's been on a couple of million for 25 years I doubt he ever needs to work again.

Not to mention flogging Walker's crisps.

I'd say, using footballing parlance, that he's 'played a blinder' in securing a gradual retirement.

25 years is a loooong time. He's expanded into podcasting (which seems to be going really well in The Rest is Football format, and there are numerous spinoffs) and seems to enjoy talking about football with his mates without having subscribe to the rules of the Beeb and the all the associated flack you get from being a lackey to public funding. IMO it's better for it, they say all the things you wish they'd say on MOTD but can't because they have to be seen to be fair to all teams and not be overly critical of managers and refs and players.

Telly as we know it is dead after all, it'll be gone in my lifetime. Hardly anyone under 35 even watches it.

Think he did some good charity stuff with his money as his kid died of leukaemia? Or maybe just donated his time, lent his name to a charity etc. Good ambassador for the game too. He should have just learnt to abide by the impartiality rules others had to.
