Wasn't aware he existed until yesterday, but IMO he gives every single piece of information required to do a job, that's all i want/need.

He's been around for a good few years and has had enough success to move to better and bigger premises than his original home garage and create content full time.

Not everyone agrees with his methods, or what he says and tbf he has got a few things wrong in the early days, but he does make good vids, especially for beginners. If youre ever stuck for something to watch, his build threads can be good as he incorporates how he did everything into them.

Thanks to some chats with Alan @ PBTD it looks like the ZX6R will be making a slightly early debut at Pembrey on the 23rd April. Well, assuming we're allowed into Wales of course

Need to scoot into the garage this weekend just to see if the chain is actually ok, indifferent or urgent and then either get it sorted with some help from Tricky/Crust or get it over to MSG Racing and sorted by them.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the QS goes down with Mrs Weeksy and whether she actually feels it's of any benefit at all.

Not until I fit the chain no. It'll be done before it's ridden though

Decided to whip the sprocket off and book the chain in for fitting next week at MSG Racing. It'll take him 10 mins and i know it's done right so it'll never get a seconds thought.

I'm sure Couchie will not be impressed but we're going with a 16T front, not a 15T front. With the 47 rear on there. (standard gearing is 16/43)

She's been running 15/43 for the past couple of years, so going 16/47 is only fractionally different overall. I did offer her the 15T front with the 47, but i think "it'll accelerate a chunk quicker" may have freaked her out a bit. Partly my fault, but i want her comfortable on the bike.

I couldn't get the front sprocket nut off though, so he'll have to get the windy gun on it.

Waiting for some new sprocket nuts to arrive this week. But while i'm waiting i got a mate to drop round with angle grinder and whip the chain off

Last time I saw a chain like that it was overtaking me on the A421.

I was late for work that day.

Looks fine to me. I was going to ask him if he wanted to sell it!

Whilst I wouldn't necessarily describe myself as picky when it comes to bikes, I do like my chains to be a closed loop rather than a line. I'm old fashioned.
