Taking it to a local car/truck/bike show Saturday @ 4pm.
Also: Found an OEM r/h mirror to replace the weird magnifying Emgo one. Turns out if you look for GPz750 mirrors on Ebay they're about $45/pair, instead of the $150 each for GPz11 mirrors. They're exactly the same part...

Gave the creaky UniTrak bearings/bushings some fresh MolyB/Graphite grease. Sounded like an old barn door when I sat on it & backed it out of the garage. Thought it might be a ball ache to service... no idea why, as I had the exact same shit apart on the ZX11 a while back.
Took just a few minutes. Needle rollers were drier than a nun's chuff. No corrosion & everything easily wiped clean with a paper towel. I even found a piece of wood the ideal thickness to support the rear tire at the right height so the lower shock bolt just slid in. All gooped up now & ready for the next 43 years
Just need to final torque the hardware. No more creaky 
Should probably add this job to the '83 GPz750-A1 resto too.

GPz750 mirrors arrived, fitted the right one to the GPz11. Now cars won't look like they're 6ft behind me when they're actually about 100ft back
and now I have a choice of 5 different ones for the GPz750:
The original buggered GPz11 r/h one
The weird Emgo r/h one
The spare left one that came as part of the pair that arrived yesterday
& the two that are already on the GPz750
They're all pretty much buggered though...

Another HUGE project today...

& yes, it's just as tight as before, but I rotated the axle a tad so the spod I stuck in the hole on the other end was up/down instead of fore/aft to get better leverage to prevent it turning while I tightened the nut.

Spiffy refinished strakes on the GPz11 
There are two M8 allens & 3 screws on each side...all allens present, but one side had one screw, the other had two. Luckily I had spares from the extra set I bought.
