I cut a chunk out of the pad of my middle finger, left hand. Bloody nuisance.
Now I've just gone and done the same on middle finger, right hand. Handicapped!
Some days I shouldn't be allow near tools of any sort.

Put this up on garage wall. Freeed up some space elsewhere. Was a gamble, it's cheap, plastic tat but to my surprise, pretty sturdy. Wooden horizontal battens and fix. Jobs a gooden.

Re: What have you done today thread?
1/2 trained 1/2 ridden the pushbike to work in freezing fog this morning as there was engineering work. Broken equipment day due to failed site heaters causing low SF6 pressure alarms in some of our switchgear and then a crow landed on some of our oil switchgear and acted like a feathered fuse for the 33000V supply.
Just had a huge roast (not crow) cooked be a colleague and am now contemplating the ride back to the station with trains when my shift finishes later but I’ve eaten so much I may need a shoehorn to squeeze into my Lycra.

Started sorting the machine tool tooling. All tools with morse tapers are either in a machine, in one box for using or the to be sold box..

Takes 24 hours for the mind controller chip to log onto the system. Before you know it you'll be looking at a nice little battery car and voting Tory.

None of that will matter, the chip will allow you to find ways around your deeply antisocial behaviours.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I'd made a loose plan to go walking this morning - for sunrise. I sleep with the window open cos I like fresh air not stuffy air
The alarm went off at 6am and again at 6.30am. Temperature was about -14 (have a thermometer on the outside of the apartment) so I got up and closed the window and went back to the warm for a bit!!! It's one thing to like to breathe fresh air but to get up and be persuaded to go outside in that temperature is not so easy!! LOL
Anyway - I did get up not too much later. Have made the filling for some spring rolls and the pancakes are defrosting ready for me to try to put them together!!
Plan is to have a go at making cinnamon rolls later. And putting some pork in to marinade to make a char sui type thing tomorrow
I didn't do a lot this weekend and so no feel I need to make myself do things so I can persuade my brain to be more positive!!!

Thank you. I'm quietly chuffed with them! Never made them before
The baking is more mental health than physio, but it is good for my shoulder too! The physio was really happy today and so was I, initially - but then he worked on my and now I hurt!! LOL LOL

Re: What have you done today thread?
Finished an assignment. Sorted out the new tyres, tubes and brake pads on what will be my bicycle once I get seat post to shift. It seems to be rusted in place at the moment, which is annoying! Still, the bike is decent and the new Schwalbe tyres are nicer than those I've removed.

I has the most prefect poop this afternoon, everything departed without fuss, pain, splatter, straining or blood. Minimal clean up etc. Not something that happens every day, or every month for that matter.
