Just an update. Whole packet has been demolished
Feel quite full. Did’t even enjoy the last one.

Re: What have you done today thread?
All plans are off today. Had a headache all night and it's only just started to go (hammered with paracetamol and eventually the Acupan stuff I have from the rehab place)
Damn that was unpleasant. Wasn't a migraine as I know them but was a bastard of a headache.
Probably down to not drinking enough water/tea yesterday due to traveling and physio. And not eating properly (only easy food was bloody MacDo's at the train station as I ran to get the early train). But damn
Just have to do everything tomorrow instead

Every now and then I just make more tea so I can finish the packet!! Although that is getting less often for some (random but good) reason.formula400 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 08, 2021 9:51 pm Just an update. Whole packet has been demolished

Missus is ill and I'm the effing nursemaid. Things shouldn't happen that way around - I'm built for smacking things with hammers and destroying them with fire.
She'll hopefully be fine btw.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Today I've seen the rather scary message 'The battery charge is too low, stop using the car immediately'.
I'm assuming it's just the cold coupled with only short journeys at night and not a weird Noggin type issue, I just hope it starts tomorrow morning for my trip to Halfords to replace the knackered and underpowered ctek charger.

I was feeling a bit conflicted for a moment. Couldn't decide between a potential $600M lottery win next Tuesday or a mere $550M on Wednesday.
Decided to buy two tickets.

Been out to smash up nearly 2" of ice on top of the pool. Not quite the pool maintenance Yorick is used to. It's a bit chilly this winter.

Some days I shouldn't be allow near tools of any sort.

Put this up on garage wall. Freeed up some space elsewhere. Was a gamble, it's cheap, plastic tat but to my surprise, pretty sturdy. Wooden horizontal battens and fix. Jobs a gooden.

Re: What have you done today thread?
1/2 trained 1/2 ridden the pushbike to work in freezing fog this morning as there was engineering work. Broken equipment day due to failed site heaters causing low SF6 pressure alarms in some of our switchgear and then a crow landed on some of our oil switchgear and acted like a feathered fuse for the 33000V supply.
Just had a huge roast (not crow) cooked be a colleague and am now contemplating the ride back to the station with trains when my shift finishes later but I’ve eaten so much I may need a shoehorn to squeeze into my Lycra.

Started sorting the machine tool tooling. All tools with morse tapers are either in a machine, in one box for using or the to be sold box..

Takes 24 hours for the mind controller chip to log onto the system. Before you know it you'll be looking at a nice little battery car and voting Tory.
