1) Did it work?
2) why did it need front suspension?

Looks like an ideal bike for a bit of gentle green lane rides

I'm assuming it's more an exercise in marketing than a serious bike

Nice bike.
A Fahron tuned bike is a rarity, let alone in a road legal spondon!

I had Ron do the porting, heads and later on the crank on my Aircooled RD250 racebike.

The crank job was brilliant, used RG500 big ends iirc. He overbored the barrels to take DT125R pistons too.

Ended up as a 279cc or something, just under the 250 class cap for Earlystocks.

On the Boyer ignition and with that crank it would rev past the end of the stock rev counter!

He said the heads were only a mild job and once I'd got used to them to it send them back and he'd do the proper job.

Bike was way better than I was.

That's lovely. I like it when specials like this are parked in front of a suburban garage.

It's like the BMW set up (paralever is it?), the two swingarms are like double wishbones on a car. It is intended to stop wheelbase changes under power.

Love the rather more Italian name they've given it. :D

I put this in the competition thread as its being raffled, but thought it was worth sticking in here. I quite like this but i'm not too sure why! Certaibnly an interesting thing to do with a XV1000 TR1!
