To me its very bloody significant but a decent part of my "pay" is satisfaction of a job done right.

I'll absolutely rip anyone that gets in the way of that. Feckless chancer gaffas, whoever pays me, whatever... I'll want to do the job right. To me it matters
Zero time for people who either don't know what their doing or aren't prepared to learn.

So, in short, job satisfaction.

I had some plumbing work done recently. Bloke really took pride in his work and i congratulated him on the quality of his work. He said, if you don't take pride in your work, you're in the wrong job. Couldn't agree more!

When one of our cats is fast asleep and begins to snore. This makes me happy, as 99% of the time, cats are on alert, even when sleeping, so it's so lovely knowing he's having a great kip with no worries.
As he's now been neutured too, his new nickname is Monty Sherman (insert our surname here). lol. as he spends his days wanting more and more food, and thinks he can get it on demand. He's not a quick learner!

Walking home with baby dazzle I came across one of these little fellas. It had misjudged how big the kerb was and was stuck half on half off the pavement (normally they find the drop kerbs IME).

I lifted it back on to its wheels. The bit which made me smile and which I wasn't expecting was when it gave a happy little "thank you!" and shimmied as it drove off.

Its little acts like that which will be remembered come the robot apocalypse.
