Snetterton 9th August

Post by Le_Fromage_Grande »

It's wet at Snett

So far everyone has had their first session and the fast are on their second, all sessions have been red flagged for fallers, in mine (slow) a bloke on an unfaired Triumph 765 came off at the Esses on the first sighting lap, it's raining now so my hope of getting a dry session is looking unlikely.

Inters now going out

More later

It's a bit crap, especially as there just seems to be a cloud stuck over Snett

Yeah just deciding whether to do the next session or not, think I'll take a look, do a couple of laps and see what I think

You know Snetterton well. If the showers miss then its flat and enough wind to dry the track fairly quickly

It's okay, be better without a sheen of oil at the Bombhole, tyres are getting warmed up, if it doesn't rain before my next session the track will be dry.

The oil is from a Fireblade that's now rather second hand.

Chap on the Fireblade high sided on the oil and broke his arm, his mate is taking his bike home for him.

The track is currently being cleaned.

Session no.3 advanced dry, inters dry, novice 1 dry lap and then the heavens opened, I decided to come in because I couldn't see where I was going, I'm now sulking in the car, engine running, heater going full blast to dry me out.

Just been out for a very short session, it's about to piss down again, correction, it's pissing down, looks like the last session may be dry

Seems the same all over the county. I was out earlier in sky splitting sunshine and 15 minutes later hammering down followed by sunshine again

Currently pissing down here as well but sunshine in the distance
