I'm heading up to Greno and Wharncliffe with Mark James (CMCSJ1 on pbmagforum) and another mate Saturday morning.

I'm heading to A&E Saturday afternoon.

Fantastic... We'll show you the old stuff and the new/dedicated stuff. I'll also bring my shock pump and we'll check your bouncy stuff and see if we can/need to make it handle better, set your sag etc. You can even have a go on the G-160 so you can compare different frames/geometry on different terrain.

My lad will scare you with some of his jumping, but that's normal ...

Bring snacks and water :)

I hear Crust is coming to play too. So if we have time and he's got enough settings on the Shockwiz for his forks, we can install it onto yours for some sections to help with tuning the suspenders... I'm hoping to get it pretty close just by bouncing on it as i'm better at 'feeling' it than i once was.

Today was everything about why i love bikes and riding MTBs.... well, that's not actually completely true, there was no beer and no cake, my fault and apologies lads, but i was on a bit of a time-crunch... Other than that, the highlight of my day was seeing Docca and my boss absolutely LOVING it !!! I love getting people excited about riding MTB. Superb !!!!

Well its arguably better for you guys to pick the date for that.... Me and my lad are there most weekends or even now could do a weekday evening, which is likely this week on Wed/Thurs. Only this Sat, we're now away at Mallory, but Sat 4th i'm more than happy with.

Hard really to give pointers other than "just follow the trail" to a great extent. There's not a lot else you can describe unless someone has prior knowledge etc.

I loved all of it with the exception of one red route.

You drop into downhill trench which is quite narrow. After a few seconds, you find yourself doing your best impression of an X-wing carving its way along one of the Death Star trenches and you need the reflexes tuned up to max. Just when you start to feel as though you're getting a bit of a break, it fucks you into some death jumps that launch you into the ozone.

Yeah, I didn't like that bit. Can't remember the name. Think the jumps are called 'baby maker'

Yeah it's not a nice trail that one i'm afraid, but when you have the small lads who want to do some jumping, you need to give them their fun too :)

Sorry big man.
