He's going down, so he must have got it up the 21 hairpins. Currently blocking the road at turn 15 - which means he did 14 ok (well, 35 if you include the 21 going up) so he really fcked up!! LOL
Got some friends who went to the valley this afternoon, luckily in their camper. They've decided to park up and sleep at turn 15!! LOL

Re: utterly random picture thread.
I just went for a walk around in the souvenir/expensive-tatt shop cos I bought a bag there a couple of years ago and want another one
Spent most of my 10 mins in there giggling. Cos I've never seen spanking 'planks' on show in this place, and at kids eye level too!! Guess it should put the fear into kids - but made me proper laugh

Another vote for shaft drive!
Proverbs 17:9
One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

There's another one of the moon aswell, but by the time I heard about that I'd missed it.

Re: utterly random picture thread.
There's quite a bit of colour in/on the moon as well from the different rocks and minerals that are scattered around. There's even a very small, bright blue patch* that can be seen with a decent telescope. You have to tease the colours out in post processing of lunar photographs.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 10:55 pm

I wonder what the display moon showed the colours or was just grey.
*This guy made a video of it.

Re: utterly random picture thread.
The moon one is this thing...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Museum_of ... prov=sfla1
"The surface of the sphere is decorated with 120dpi printed imagery of the Moon's surface from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, stitched together by the Astrogeology Science Centre of the United States Geological Survey"
So presumably the artwork is a faithful representation of the moon's surface.
