Vauxhall Park in Gt Yarmouth. Mum-in-Law was recently diagnosed with dementia and its taking it toll on Father-in-Law as he's understandably really busted up over it. So my Wife will get some quality time with her Mum and F-i-L gets some respite with me in the pub!

Loitering, prior to flying off to another island, the first time I've flown sine this current farrago started. I've to escort someone home tomorrow. Nothing untoward, the hospital won't discharge you after a general anaesthetic unless you have an escort from the hospital front doors.

Painting the inside of my shed! Using up some paints that have been in there a while then I’ll gave a good sort and get it looking like a more usable space!

I'm thinking of swapping the STR765RS for a GSX S1000. Any thoughts? I had a CB1000R which I got on fine with and regret getting rid of it. I'll be test riding a GSX S1000 as soon as I have the time.

You can't go far wrong. It's an older k5 1000, bulletproof engine but without some of the fancy electronics.Trinity765 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 7:46 pm I'm thinking of swapping the STR765RS for a GSX S1000. Any thoughts? It's 32c so chilling on patio with ice cold beer.
Mrs Y is watching tennis inside. She's wearing my posh headphones so I can't hear the godawful noise. But can still hear her cheering and shouting.
Methinks upstairs to watch BSB

Re: A right now thread
Right now all my stuff is in the car and I'm ready to drive to a friends in SW London. He is a riding instructor and is lending me a bike to get to Wales on. I was going to be leading the event, but now, as he is on a bigger bike he will be leading and I'll be hanging around in the pack (which is handy as I'll be able to observe the other riders and their riding). Once in Wales I have little responsibilities so I'll be able to chill out proper and will be off grid (no phone signal, no internet - bliss).
What was a full on biking July has turned into a full on party July thanks to Triumph UK and while it's not what I planned I guess I'm getting the second best thing.

Re: A right now thread
Woke up my daughter who is having to isolate because someone in her class went to watch the football and got covid.... in the week they do personal statements for applying to universities etc... ah well.
Heading out to an ancient 12th C Church which has a lovely peal of bells later this morning, then hopefully going to Ikea to collect a wall unit to put our bell tower audio equipment in at the modern Church.
Then back home to collect wife, shopping for daughter and then an evening meeting to sort out printer/scanner/copier system replacement. Rental is more than the cost of a good unit that would have a 3 year warranty and also allow them to print from mobiles. Too high tech for some of the ancients there, but it will future proof their systems.

One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.
