I'm away for the rest of the weekend, so if anyone wants updates, someone else is going to have to supply.

Wet and horrible! Lots of back wheel slides being caught either by rider skills or traction control.

I watched race 1 on catch up. Once Redding binned it I just hit FF to the end.

Toprak was amazing,no other word for it. So many saves in dodgy conditions for all of them.
The championship is running close now.
A shame for Redding, but the Ducati doesn't seem to work here.

Well, that round would have been hard to predict for sure. Once again tyres and the weather were major factors. Rea uncharacteristically throwing the lead away was a shock. Redding didn't look happy all weekend, but salvaged something in the last race. Toprak is looking feisty for the championship,he's looking to be the man to watch.

Yamaha had a good weekend and the beemers are looking racey too. I'd have expected the new Blade to be getting better results by now, especially given Leon Haslam has done a few laps more than most around Donnington.

For me, that was the most entertaining meeting for a very long time, enjoyed that a lot more than I've been enjoying MotoGP recently

And agree- Toprak is the man, he really took it to them all this weekend , very impressive 8-)

Rea admitted he had no answer for Toprak in race 1,Toprak just looked like a crash waiting to happen, yet it never did. Quite awesome.

Rea's own words about race 2,then race 1.

Discussing the title battle, Rea said: “I made a small mistake behind Toprak and let him get away and thought ‘this is my race’. I was able to catch him at ease, so I tried to keep my powder dry and then he made a mistake. When I went to the front, I kept my head down and then I just got really caught; I was on the bumps at Coppice.”

“I was a little bit more disappointed yesterday, I had nothing for Toprak. Today, I did. It’s a bit bittersweet.

Just caught up on it all. Was great to see some people battling Rea for a change. Toprak is something else on the brakes, he seems to kick the back end out at times, well, all the time really, either using the clutch or snapping the brakes on or something, i'm not sure which. But it's most entertaining to see.

Redding again a disappointment, Chaz the same. Lowes did OK, Gerloff OK, VDM wasn't terrible.... But still, all of these need to find a way to battle at the front rather than for minor positions, which is of course much easier said than done !
