Yes, I had it on my wall which why I posted it. Dennis Ireland hit a concrete post when he fell off and missed several months of racing. Remind me a bit of the Max Biaggi wheelie as well when he nearly goes over backwards. The Spin Doctor wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 8:29 pmThat was a great pic... didn't they do it poster-sized in a magazine?d121eaac26997667f7c8d172400efbe3.jpg

Can't find the head on photo (by Gold and Goose) of Mick Doohan about to land back in the seat following a highside that he saved. Great photo.

Yep, its Wayne Gardner, my bad.
I've only had the framed photo for more years than I care to remember.

That's Gardner you muppet.
PS, I once headbutted the front mudguard when I highsided at Chris Curve at silly speed.

Though I usually look away from the 'gratuitous use of female form to promote motorcycles' style of advertising (my standards admittedly slipped when I was buying Fast Bikes) that shot is actually rather clever.
Just a shame that having set it up, they didn't tweak the front wheel so it was absolutely straight. Or get the model to angle her arms to match.

Didn't ensure that there was the same lighting for both? Check the shadows.
Photoshop of two images, but with red light from the left to tie the two together?

Same here. I thought it was clever matching but was a tad reluctant to post it for fear of starting a "birds n bikes" thing. Yes I'd have straightened everything and shoved her over a bit too.The Spin Doctor wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 9:06 am Though I usually look away from the 'gratuitous use of female form to promote motorcycles' style of advertising (my standards admittedly slipped when I was buying Fast Bikes) that shot is actually rather clever.

Do you think he has a flask gaffer taped to the bike, just in case?

The locals will all offer tea to retirements, especially the old biddies who watch out of their front windows, seen it several times as a marshal.
