The timber is treated already. Its not a solid floor as we built in 5 mm gaps every third board to allow drainage for any spillages. We did suggest not having the floor and placing tub on slab due to water etc etc but customer specified the floor had to go in so the slots will allow drainage to the slab, hey ho. And its all solid and flat on the slab. First pic was just laying stuff about and not measured or levelled.
And just for clarity for Yorick to call ANYONE ugly is like standing in a green house and throwing an entire bag of gravel at every single pane of glass

Quite a busy day with various appointments and French lesson
The big thing was in physio - I managed to lift my right arm up (sort of) straight. Ok, with a bit of help from my left arm. But still. I'm sodding ecstatic!!!
I know - posted the video elsewhere. But, sod it. I'm seriously seriously happy about this!!!

Had the bad news that my longest standing client has been diagnosed with terminal leukaemia I’ve looked after her for the best part of 16 years. Lovely woman with a lovely family, she’ll be a great loss
Also had another builder out to price up the garage build, just need him and the other one to provide their quotes in a timely fashion.

Just had my cell phone, computer & satellite TV doodad all reboot at the same time. They aren't connected to each other at all & there wasn't a power surge.

Just experienced that nerve shattering joy of watching Scotland play England ….. as the 3rd lowest ranked team in the tournament a draw with England is a huge result

I enjoyed that, some problems were engineered for the drama but it may be the most honest farming show I've ever seen.

Got up early. Got tyres fitted to the car. Then collected a garden swing thing for the wife. Assembled it with minimal swearing and no blood letting which is a nice change. Cats are now arguing about who has rights to sit on it. Then looked at the SWMotech plate and Givi Adapter plate, ordered countersunk bolts and spacers which will arrive tomorrow (thank you Amazon).
Dinner tonight is something, wife is doing it as I cooked last night.

Re: What have you done today thread?
OK, so technically yesterday.
Finally did something I've been getting around to for about 5 years....dropped my old Alpinestars jacket off at Hideout Leathers. I'm getting the armour taken out, zips fixed and then having the shoulders and sleeves taken in. I.e. turn it into a 'normal' jacket and not a bike one.
Kate certainly seems to know her stuff, I'd have no hesitation about buying a full set of MTM leathers there. I was pleased to see she didn't measure me, she just had me wear the jacket and then pulled it into shape in various places while drawing on it in silver pen. Proper bespoke fitting like when you get a fancy suit in London
