Right now dealing with a green pool.
Took my eye off the ball lately and let it go green. Air temp was down, but sun still berserk and pool temp has risen to 30c. The new cover is better than I thought.
Have done a "Vac to waste" which gets rid of the algae on bottom of pool. It was much darker before I vacced the bottom.
Have put in half a tub of Chloroshock and will leave pump going for 24 (48) hours until it clears.
Then jump in with face mask to get rid of any lingering spots of algae.
Well, it's a lot clearer today. Gonna jump in later and scrub off the algae near the stairs and anywhere else.

Pool is back to it's beautiful best after I got in and scrubbed all the walls and vacced again. Had a nice swim earlier.
Even the guests took a plunge. Glad they didn't see the murkiness

Watching the James Martin Saturday cooking programme (in between cutting wood!). Missed him yesterday cos I went to see a kitten then to a BBQ! Lucky I can save/record things on the site I use for UK tv!!! (TBF, I'm not actually watching him much cos I'm doing stuff. But I do still like listening to him!!
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!!
Fitted a new MAF sensor to Father-in-laws picasso and cleared the fault codes. He is one very happy chappy. Mother-in-law is even happier as apparently he was lobbing toys out of his pram saying it was new car time and he hadn't worked all his life to have an unreliable car etc blah!
Waiting for my wife to call to be picked up from A&E. She stacked her ebike today and her wrist has increased its swelling throughout the day so her colleagues took her to A&E. Ho hum...

Getting ready to go online for a 1 hour 45 minute course entitled "Lets talk about race"!
I'm so glad I don't have to worry about any of that silly shite, we've got so many different colours, nationalities and races that no one cares, we just get on with the job and life in general. I'm also a minority.
Bailed on it after 10 minutes as it suddenly dawned on me I'd done it before. Probably should have stayed listening though as I didn't remember any of the correct answers! Breakout rooms, ffs!

IIRC something like 140+ nationalities there.
That said, there seemed to be a four level hierarchy, with certain origin workers at the lowest level and a very limited number at the top level. I am deliberately being vague.

When I was in Canada visiting family in 1985, it was the centenary year of Canada or summat.
It showed that all sorts of nations came and nobody was first.
So everybody really was equal.
