MotoGP /2/3 Catalunya chat...

Post by weeksy »

So we're underway with FP1 for the small bikes...

What does stand out to me is just how close the houses/town/city are to the circuit.... there's literally loads of them in sight, which is unthinkable in the UK isn't it...

But anyway, what's your predictions...
Quat for the win again ? Or someone else.... I'm going Zarco for this one just for a change :D

Moto2 with Gardner getting the MotoGP ride for next year that must have Lowes asking himself some questions surely ? Would he have been in with a chance of a ride if he'd won the title ? Or at least stayed on all the races ? Or is he just not quite good enough ?

Acosta had a bit of a poor weekend by his standards, can we expect a return to the front from the youngster ? It wasn't that he was poor, but just got his tactics wrong with 2 laps from the end which screwed him for the win/podium.

Look at Brands Hatch on Google maps. There's houses who's gardens back onto the track.

I normally watch every practice and qually, but I won't be able to see the race on Sunday. So not gonna bother this time.
Don't wanna do all the build up, then miss the main event.

But we'll see the next one in some Spanish bar :)

Rins out after breaking his wrist crashing his bicycle into a car on an empty (mostly) circuit.

How many faceplants does that need!

One of our team is currently on the ferry from Gran Canaria to here. He's streaming practice on his laptop.
It's a new boat with better Wifi. So looks like we'll be able to watch the race tmrw :)

He should be disqualified on safety grounds, he should have pitted as soon as he knew there was a problem with his leathers, the clerk of the course needs a good hard kick in the bollocks for not black flagging him.

It's harsh on him, but safety rules are there for a reason, you wouldn't be allowed out on a track day with your leathers like that.
