A new hallway floor. Boring but well worth the wait.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Car looks so much nicer now. 270 quid well spent, I reckon.
Out of interest, do they take the tyres off?

Just coz KFB is too fucking lazy to come round mine and look for himself.

Yeah. Tyres off, acid bath, media blast, powder coat, lacquer and tyres back on and balanced.
New colour matched centre caps.

Not bad for 270 quid.

Bobby Dazzlers they are now, but you need new nuts.
As an actress may once have said to a vicar.

Yeah. It has kinda shown them up as a bit shabby.

If we're talking lawnmowers, I've just bought this. Well impressed, uses two Makita LXT batteries (same as drill, driver & hedge trimmer) and goes a good 'un.

You got the LXT Strimmer yet? Thinking of getting one but strimmers are such fickle fings and would like a real owners review!

I've got the Stihl stuff with the AK batteries. The standard line is a bit thin but with the help of a small drill it'll take 2mm line. Can't fault it.

I've also got normal and long reach hedge trimmers and leaf blower on the same batteries. It's all good kit. If you want to pop up to Bishop's Stortford you're more than welcome to try it.

But. Hugest of thank yous to Mr Weeksy - my house and van keys are now adorned with a forum key ring :banana-dance: :banana-dance:

I will take one with me when I go to get the Monster so that key can have one too

Not sure where the stickers will go yet :)

My Fakita 18v impact driver thingy. Different world to my Makita drill. Undoing bolts on bikes is amazing and using it for putting in screws in wood yesterday makes me realise whilst most of my builder type mates have them. Super pleased with this purchase!!

Remote pre-load adjuster, thats a spendy option!

What did it set you back, £750ish? (if you don't mind me asking).

A smidge over 1K.

I've had remote preload adjuster before on an Ohlins on my 9R and it was lovely to use and the ZH2 has really rubbish access to the rear shock.

Ouch, but then I guess if you've got a ZH2 you might as well buy it the best.
