What does the A and C's bit mean ? But chapeau 👍 👏 for holding 176bpm, ever since my accidents, recupperation and loss of interest last year I'm struggling to get anywhere near those HR numbers. 🙁

They're classes based upon your 20 minute average power. So in a race you're matched not against Pros but against similarly power to weight riders.

It can be quite soul destroying I guess to go out in a race and flog yourself for 80th out of 120 say, but if you're racing just Cs, then you can be battling the front runners.

Some races you only see your cat, some you see all. I prefer seeing just C as I'm strong. But in these races with all cats it can help your rankings if you beat a pile of Bs.

I haven't done much proper cycling in the last few weeks since i have spent more time in the gym 3-4 times a week. I manage to log 9 miles in 30 minutes per visit on the static bike in the gym as a cardio session after or before weight training so keeping some mileage in

Managed another quick 20 miles down the Hayling Billy and across to Southsea including taking a trip ‘abroad’ on a cruise ...well the Hayling Ferry ..but as Benny Hill would say ..’ you try walking it ..’ that brings me to 85 miles in the past 10 days .

3 1/2 pints of Aspalls on an empty stomach may have generated a few bush interfaces on some of the corners on the way home.😂

Rather boringly got a puncture that wouldn’t seal so required an anchovy and just as I got a bit of air into the tyre it started blowing again so required a second one.

Alas no, cider is currently 7 days away as working nights and some OT next week which means no alcohol.

Gentle one for me today. About 3 miles from home I realised I had about 15psi in the rear, 15 maybe, lol. But I wasn't looking for land speed records, just a cruise before it got too hot
