I am fairly sure that is illegal. And probably fairly difficult.

I've like that, but not because I like seagulls. I live near the sea and am constantly washing sea gull shit off the car, the decking, the patio furniture and the walls/doors/windows. Flying rats! :angry-cussingblack:

I agree....we live near (13 miles) from Aberystwyth, and you often see people feeding them. Never mind that they often get into the bins to drag stuff out.

Round here the Council Estate Staffies have to go round in pairs to stop the seagulls picking on them.

Got a call from my step dad earlier. My mum's been in a bit of pain lately, so the hospital fast-tracked her for tests as she's been playing whack-a-mole with bladder cancer for a few years now and they thought it might be bowel cancer. She got a call from the hospital a few days back, via my stepdad as mum's deaf, saying there was no sign of bowel cancer. Celebrations all round!

Today they've called and want her back asap for tests as they think she may, however, have cancer on her kidneys. :(

Sorry to hear this. Prayers for you, your mum and your family. Peace and grace.

Fucking Frog Delicate Surface Masking tape, piece of fucking shit.

Gloss work has been dry for a week, that needs redoing as the bastard tape has lifted the paint off

Vinyl wallpaper that was an utter bastard to put up, get smooth and pattern matched, took the fucking surface off so that needs repapering.

I usually remove masking tape before the paint is completely dry. Leave it on too long and it'll not only lift the paint where you painted the tape as well but enough of the sticky shit on the tape will remain and it's a bitch to get off (WD 40 is about the best thing to use).

I did that while painting the gloss, got a perfect edge next to the carpet, this was masking off the new gloss to emulsion the walls. The emulsion was still wet as I removed the masking film and this god awful tape.

Hey how, gives me a chance to perch on top of a step ladder with a paint kettle to hand paint all of the freshly sprayed woodwork...

Banks. Specifically a particular French bank

I lost my personal account debit card and send an email to my account manager (NOT the business account manager) to advise and request a new card

Then got a message from the front desk lady that my card was ready to be collected

I picked it up on Tuesday

Wednesday I get an email from the account manager saying she's cancelled my card and I will be notified of when the new one arrives

So I reply saying thank you but I have already collected it

Didn't think any more of it

Then on Thursday evening my card didn't work

Friday I needed to get cash from a different branch for a payment to a notaire, so used the business card (bill was going to the business!).

Machine swallows card

I go to ask at reception and she says 'it's on the system as blocked because you lost it' - No, I didn't lose my business card, I've never contacted my business manager about the card and now I have no card for the weekend and need to get money from the business account to pay the bill to the guy upstairs

So she sorts out me getting cash

After the notaire stuff is finished I go to my branch and ask the front desk lady whats going on and she says there shouldn't be a problem as you just collected the card on Tuesday. Then looks on the system and says, they have both been cancelled. Neither account manager is available to explain. I asked the front desk lady to try and get someone to explain to me WTF both cards were cancelled when I had never had an issue with the business card and I had collected the replacement card

Then when I tried to get money out for fuel for the weekend, the sodding woman in the other branch had taken the money from my personal account for the notaire bill, not the business as requested - my French isn't that bad, so she was just doing whatever TF she wanted rather than what I asked!!

FFS. I know that French banks are a law unto themselves and I knew my business account manager is a teddy-bear. But FFS

Now going to do some investigation amongst others out here to see if there is a decent business manager in another bank - it seems not very safe to have the two accounts in the same bank if both cards can be cancelled on a whim

Also going to see if my original personal account manager still works there and if there's anyway she can take on my account again - at least she responds to emails and communicates in general!!!

Bastard fucking french bankers!!!!
