Some friends came round this morning so he could put the microwave holder on the wall!! Woohoo, more space!!

Now, when I go to the valley tomorrow I have to get some stuff that means I can fix the extra bit of worksurface in place then I can move things around and enjoy the extra space to put cooking stuff!! :banana-dance: :banana-dance: :banana-dance:
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

Overslept! Haven't been sleeping well for ages and I didn't even feel tired last night, so I sat up watching music vids and drank about half a dozen large G&Ts! I actually feel more tried for a good nights sleep than a bad nights one! :wtf:

Went for breakfast with Mrs Potter then did some work on my boat.
I dropped my socket wrench over the side so put my snorkel on and dived for it in just over 4m of water but I couldn't find it and in the end my ears kept popping and I just know I'm going to have an ear infection now :(

I went back to the office for a day this week, the first time since March 2020. I am free to manage my own phased return, so I'll be doing two days next week, maybe three the next etc.

I was great! It's different as there are no communal spaces so you can't grab a coffee with a friend and you have to eat at your desk or outside. Masks are to be worn when you're moving about. I like going to work and I like coming home after a long day so hopefully, I'll be back in the office full time within a month and I will always have the choice to wfh or go in - happy days.

Had a call from the wife.

Car is making a hissing noise and there's a light on to say the passenger airbag has failed!

So I tell her to stop and try restarting the car.

She stops. The car won't restart.

Bugger.

Get her to ring Toyota recovery and they send the AA out.

Turns out you can't start an automatic Aygo with it in gear (just like every other auto) and that light is always on to tell you the airbag is enabled.

Dunno why I didn't think of it myself.

Just had my second jab of either placebo or vaccine. So I was either fully vaccinated back in November or today. I now have a vax cert showing 4 injections (of either placebo or the real thing)

Stripped even more wallpaper off to realise I am going to have to put lining paper up before I can paint.

The upside is I’ve gotten rid of shitload of wood chip wallpaper which is from the devil.

I get the joy of finishing the job tomorrow. :sarcasm:

I made some chocolate brownies yesterday to take the the Covid clinic today. They were praised by a colleague, a baker to trade, before he knew it was me that had made them :banana-dance:

Planted some lettuce and chard, got the 26er tail ready (new tyre set up tubeless), 29er brakes sorted out and cut my hair in the shed (too short again :? )

It's always better if you flush it first.
