I can see it on the internet and my old photos.

It's beautiful from afar ;)
You like where you live, I get that and its great that you do.
I'm just not that much of a fan of hot countries and generally think we have it about right here.

Other peoples opinions differ though.
I don't like hot so much. I just hate cold and wet.

I can wear t-shirt and shorts every day. And can ride my bike every day.
Fair enough, I totally get that bit.

This week has been much colder, day time temps are typically 8 degrees, dropping to 2 and frosty overnight. The last run I had I kept the speeds under 60mph,or it just became unpleasantly cold.

All that was ok,because at least it was dry,but now it's wintery showers of icy rain, wind and hail which has stopped any bike action.

April was the most frosty month for 40 years and it doesn't look to be changing much for May.
I'm full time on the bike again, last Sunday the rain on the M2 was probably about the worst I've seen in easy 20 years, I got drenched on the Pan with a high screen and all the optional wind deflectors. The bike was frozen when I walked the dogs this morning and every ride lately has needed the heated grips on full whack. Even with this big fairing I was foundered.

We were planning to do a trip up to the top of Scotland this week but the other month we decided to postpone it until we had more cetainty about what would & would not be open. After the weather this last week I'm glad we decided to wait a bit longer.
I was planning on commuting on my Street Triple the other morning but after seeing the car covered in frost I decided to leave the bike in the garage..

3 inches of snow on the car this morning :o :o :o Ok, it was all slushy and mostly melted on the road, so not too bad. But, whilst we regularly have flurries of snow in May, I don't remember this much settling at this time of year!!!

Stolen from a friend...

I've just realised why this month is called May. It may rain, it may snow, it may be 25c, it may be 5c :shifty:

Yesterday morning :o

I left resort at about 8:30. It was snowing but changing to rain. It must have rained a fair bit and the temps went up to help melt the snow - caused some flooding/mud debris across some of the roads :o

Don't worry Gramps, I'll take this one.....

So damn hot here yesterday, spent all afternoon on the beach (got the sunburn to prove it), even the sea was plenty warm enough for bodyboarding sans wetsuit.
First BBQ of the year (Thanks Weeksy) followed by first turning on of the air con !

Noggin, you're on the wrong side of France chick !

TBF, I'm really not. But right now I would move for a few days of sunshine (as long as I can come back!!) - couldn't cope with the summer temperatures you and Yorick get, far too hot for me!

It has definitely not been a ‘typical Spring’. Lots of air frost and a drop of 5 degrees in the usual average temperature.

Lots of my plants such as hydrangeas have had their tender leaves and shoots burned off by the frost.

It seems to be over now.

About the 6th or so this year, but it's plenty warm enough to sit outside in a T-Shirt and enjoy a frosty one;

I'm sorry but that fence is a travesty and the patio really needs repointing looking at the weeds in the crack.

Nice BBQ though👍

22 degrees in the valley today - rather lovely!! Only 10 in resort but with the sun out it would have been good to sit outside - sadly the sun bailed about 16:30 - as I was driving home!!!

Yeah i got lucky yesterday and the weather allowed me a 90 mins lunch play on the XSR900. Sadly the roads didn't play ball quite as much and too much traffic along with a diversion down some crap road due to Police cars blocking the road meant the ride wasn't quite as exciting as i'd have liked it to be. But was warm enough to play out which was nice.

32°c here today, forecast is for 36°c tomorrow, maybe a bit warmer as I live inland

Thats nearly 100°F in old weather.

I must admit that as soon as it drops to 13°c or so, I'm searching for a fleece.
