So after some messing around and having to order size 43, 43.5 and 44 to get the best fit finally used them this week, for shoes that cost £160 the insole was shocking, almost a size too small for the shoe, big toe would go over the end of it and rub, so when I got home I took the sole out of my 10 year old specalized shoe and put them in. Chalk and cheese, there now great. Googled it and seems quite a few people hate them as well. Well pleased now, feel nice and stiff, just a shame about the insoleformula400 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 11:56 pm These arrived today

Re: What have you bought for bicycle today?
Not bought yet but looks like I'm in the market... Try to resolve some poor shifting last night and as I attempted to tighten up the cable bolt on the rear derailleur I realised the bolt was spinning, took it out and had this greet me.
Almost looks like a helicoil to me, so don't know if this is standard for SRAM or if the person I bought the groupset off had already attempted a fix. Shouldn't complain too much as I bought it maybe 2-3 years ago. This is only the winter/Zwift bike so not too ruinous, just dug a different bike out of the shed for the school run this morning, I'll pick up a used replacement when one when crops up.
Already used the bike on Zwift this morning, just adjusted the limit screw until it was in a gear and operating quietly enough then used ERG mode!

Not actually bought it yet, having a debate in my head wether I should get one. A cycle cap to go under my helmet. Apparently it will keep some rain out. Plus looks good. Or not?

New back tyre, Kenda Regolith (don't think the Honey Badger would survive where we're going).

Thread cutting tool for one of the rotor bolts on the spare wheel, the thread was slightly out, so will chase it through with an M4 tap.

Chris King bottom headset bearing spring clip and seal kit.
Kenda granda mudda mud tyre
10 speed ebike chain for converting the Curtis back to one speed for winter. I figure it'll require less adjustment than the conventional chain the bike had last year when ss'ing.
oh and discovered the back wheel had a few "squarings" that require replacing so it was back to the LBS to drop it off for TLC.

A service for the bouncy bits @Sprung suspension in Cinderford, some wheel bearings and general loving.
Jake used to spanner for Katy Curd on the WC circuit and knows a thing or two about suspension, when I picked them up he told me that the forks would feel massively better than they did and OMG was he right, they feel frickin awesome
I'm loving the colour co-ordination in the green bits on the eye ends of the shock

Re: What have you bought for bicycle today?
Today was some body armour. I've realised many times that my current 661 suit doesn't fit me well, but on Wed afternoon it was a proper irritation and simply put, too tight for me. So it's being flogged and i've just bought this.

Re: What have you bought for bicycle today?
A Goodyear Eagle F1 tubeless road tyre. To go on the front of the road bike. I replaced the rear a few weeks ago.
Been running Schwalbe Ones for a few years and they have been excellent but have a tendency to start cutting quite badly after a few miles and then become less puncture resistant. The Goodyear's had excellent reviews so I bought one to replace the punctured rear (it was holding up with a TL repair but I'd rather not be on it too long) and it's been great - there's something different about the carcass that has allowed me to drop the pressures even further (now 60/80) and yet still provide the support and not feel squirrely. So there's now a matching one on it's way for the front.
