Mine was LHH 709P and I've checked and its not on the database.

Any of the 2 stroke 500 gp bikes are a good shout, also the rc30.

My FS1E must've been one of the last, it was E reg. Not great looking though - even then the massive void above the engine looked weird.
After a crash on its maiden outing with me, it was even less of a looker - I replaced the mangled front end with a brush painted Dulux gloss yellow italic wheel and forks from an RD 50.

I'd go for a GS1000 before one of those. always though they were slightly out of proportion.
Suzuki were always better at making pretty racebikes than roadbikes(RGV250 aside)

Love the XR69

Admittedly I am as biased as feck cos I have one but I much prefer the look of the 88 and 89 Slingshots.
This isn't mine but its the same, I just don't have a photo to hand, all on old memory sticks.
To be fair I wouldn't say it deserves place on Most Beautiful either, I reckon the bikes we like are a bit like people's favourite Dr Who, an age thing.

As an aside, people who say the new ducmvlavguzota is the most beautiful bike ever are so wrong.
They might have had more time spent with some fancy software program or the designer allowed free reign or.production techniques now allow xyz to happen instead of abc, but they are ALL just a pastiche of something that has already been designed.
For me personally the early 90s was the pinnacle of motorcycle tecnical design (gsxr excluded), after that i think it was just refinement rather than revolution.

Its not about revolutionary design, its simply about most beautiful bike built. Even colour schemes make a big difference surely?
Get your point thought and my favoutie early 90's bike is the 888 SP, I actually prefer it to the 916....

Thank you kind sir :D Although I noticed after posting it, the wheels are particularly bad taste with red spokes and rim tape!

Personally I think the mid to late 1930's was the pinnacle, everything else was just the shape of the fairing.
